 On July 4, 2009, CBS Sunday Morning featured "Tilly" the dog artist, whose work has exploded onto the abstract art scene.
This has encouraged me to confess a long held (guilty) secret. The "Buttonwork" creations I have claimed to produce are actually done by our pet chicken Pearl. Pearl is very shy, and flies to her roost whenever the phone rings or someone comes to the door. This is quite sad, as she's very glamorous and loves to preen.
An indefatigable artisan, Pearl is only content when she has needle in beak and is pecking out button patterns. She does think that there haven't been enough 'egg' designs over the years, however.
